I’m honored to share that designs from our couture collection were recently featured in the Diverse Expressions exhibit at the Likha Gallery, curated by Westchester Fashion Week. This beautiful exhibition showcased works from a range of visionary artists exploring identity, heritage, and the many ways we express who we are—and we were proud to represent a unique form of artistry: wearable art – designed to inspire, empower, and transform.

One of our featured pieces was a regal African gele, handcrafted with exquisite two-tone fabric and crowned with a diamond-studded band. Each pleat was meticulously stitched to create a ready-to-wear headpiece that honors the ceremonial traditions of African headwear and the royalty within every woman. The second was our signature moldable flower petal turban—a piece that can be styled a thousand ways to reflect the wearer’s mood, moment, and metamorphosis (coming soon!) It’s a celebration of the belief that beauty always blooms, no matter the season of life.

Exploring the exhibit, I felt the inspiration too—taking in powerful works like “Ghoomar” by Mittul Mishra and “Million Dollars Red” by Pradeep Gupta, both of which told bold stories of cultural expression. Seeing our crowns displayed in this space was a moving affirmation of our mission: headwear is not just fashion, and it’s certainly not just a cover-up. Our pieces are living, breathing expressions of resilience, identity, and grace—designed to help women write their own chapter of fashion history in their life story.
